Kereta Api Kaligung Mas adalah kereta api kelas eksekutif dan bisnis yang dioperasikan PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) di Pulau Jawa dengan jurusan Semarang Tawang - Tegal dan sebaliknya. Pada awalnya kereta Kaligung hanya tersedia kelas Bisnis yaitu "Kaligung Bisnis" dan Ekonomi yaitu "Kaligung Ekonomi".Sementara para penumpang yang ingin pergi ke Tegal maupun Semarang dengan kereta kelas Eksekutif harus memesan tiket KA Jurusan Semarang atau Surabaya dengan harga tiket yang mencapai Rp200.000-Rp.300.000. Setelah PT KAI Daop IV Semarang mempertimbangkan KA Eksekutif-Bisnis relasi Tegal-Semarang maka munculah nama Kaligung Mas. Nama Kaligung diambil dari nama sungai yang terdapat di Tegal yaitu Kali Gung.
Kereta ini diluncurkan perdana pada tanggal 1 Desember 2010 pukul 05.20 dengan loko CC 201 04 06 oleh Walikota Tegal H. Ikmal Jaya SE. Rangkaian kereta yang digunakan KA Kaligung Mas adalah bekas sebagian rangkaian gerbong KA Cirebon Ekspres Tegal - Jakarta. Kereta api Kaligung Mas berangkat dari Stasiun Tegal dan hanya berhenti di Stasiun Pemalang, Stasiun Pekalongan, Stasiun Semarang Poncol, dan mengakhiri perjalanannya di Stasiun Semarang Tawang.
Peluncuran perdana KA Kaligung Mas dilaksanakan pada tanggal 1 Desember 2010 yang merupakan hasil peningkatan dari KA Kaligung.
Animo masyarakat kota Tegal dan sekitarnya terhadap layanan kereta api kelas eksekutif yang semakin meningkat, sehingga PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (persero) berupaya meningkatkan layanan kelas eksekutif di jalur Semarang Tawang (SMT) - Tegal (TG). Dengan pola operasi 1 kali PP diawali pemberangkatan awal dari Tegal di pagi hari kembali dan berangkat lagi dari Semarang Tawang pada sore harinya. Rangkaian KA Kaligung Mas terdiri dari 3 gerbong kelas eksekutif, 4 gerbong kelas bisnis, gerbong Kereta makan 1 dan 1 gerbong Kereta Pembangkit (MP). Ditambahan Menjadi Ekonomi Ac Rangkaian Yang Terdiri Dari 5 gerbong Kelas Ekonomi Ac + 1 gerbong Kereta Makan + 1 gerbong Kereta Pembangkit
Mulai 1 Februari 2012 PT. KAI Daop 4 Semarang menambah perjalanan Kaligung Mas dan sekarang KA Kaligung Mas memiliki perjalanan dua kali Tegal-Semarang PP dan mulai gapeka 2014 perjalanan ka kaligung mas ditambah menjadi 4 kali perjalanan dan sekarang ka kaligung mas memakai rangkaian kereta ekonomi Ac.
== Kecelakaan == Pada tanggal 20 Januari 2014, KA 171 Kaligung Mas menabrak Truk Minyak Goreng 93000 dan 1 Bus Jaka Kandil, akibat KRDi 1 07 05 ringsek penyok di Pos jaga (PJL) 93A, Masinis KA 171 Nurohman selamat KA membawa 200 Penumpang KA Terhambat 3 Jam pukul 0015 dibawa dibelakang TMC KA 171 dibawa ke Balai Yasa Gondokusman untuk diperbaiki, terjadi pukul 09.20 WIB

KA Banten Ekspres atau KA Patas Merak adalah KA kelas ekonomi AC yang melayani Koridor Merak - Angke . KA ini adalah pengganti Kereta api Merak Jaya yang kondisinya sudah tidak laik jalan. Perjalanan Jakarta-Merak ditempuh dalam waktu 2,5 jam. Tarifnya adalah flat Rp. 5.000,-.

Kereta api Jayabaya adalah kereta api kelas ekonomi AC milik PT Kereta Api Indonesia di Jawa yang melayani rute Pasar Senen-Surabaya Pasar Turi-Malang Kotabaru pp. Sebenarnya dahulu kereta api ini bernama Jayabaya Utara yang melayani rute Jakarta-Surabaya yang merupakan kereta api kelas bisnis. Kereta api ini diluncurkan pada tahun 1961, namun kereta api ini berhenti beroperasi pada tahun 2006 karena okupansi yang minim. Kereta api Gumarang yang mulai beroperasi pada tahun 2001 praktis menggantikan kereta api ini.
Pada tahun 2014, PT KAI mengoperasikan kembali kereta api ini setelah 8 tahun mati suri dengan memperpanjang rutenya sampai Malang karena macetnya jalan raya Surabaya-Malang. Peluncuran kereta api ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 18 Oktober 2014.
Kereta api ini terdiri dari 9 rangkaian kereta K3 AC ditambah satu kereta restorasi MP3. Dua di antaranya adalah gerbong khusus untuk kaum difabel. Total penumpang yang dapat diangkut adalah 800 orang. Perjalanan dari Jakarta-Surabaya-Malang maupun sebaliknya sejauh ± 820 km ditempuh selama sekitar 13-14 jam. Tarif batas bawah dan tarif batas atas kereta api ini adalah antara Rp 190.000,00 - Rp 400.000,00. Khusus untuk keberangkatan tanggal 18-20 Oktober 2014, penumpang mendapatkan potongan 50% dari tarif yang berlaku.

Kereta api Limited Express (Limex) Sriwijaya merupakan kereta api Eksekutif - Bisnis yang melayani koridor Stasiun Kertapati-Stasiun Tanjungkarang. Kereta ini diberangkatkan dari Stasiun Kertapati (untuk tujuan Tanjungkarang) pukul 20.00 WIB dan tiba di Stasiun Tanjungkarang pukul 04.25 WIB. Sedangkan perjalanan sebaliknya dari Stasiun Tanjungkarang (untuk tujuan Palembang) berangkat pukul 20.00 WIB dan tiba di Stasiun Kertapati pukul 04.25 WIB.
Kereta api ini berkapasitas 534 penumpang dengan membawa 4-5 kereta eksekutif retrofit dengan interior (seperti) pesawat (Eks Kereta api Sembrani/Dipo Kereta JAKK), 1 KMP2 (kereta makan pembangkit kelas bisnis),2-3 kereta bisnis dan 1 kereta "aling-aling" eks K2.Awalnya kereta api ini biasa ditarik lokomotif jenis CC201,CC202, dan BB203. Tetapi dewasa ini, KA Sriwijaya lebih sering ditarik lokomotif jenis CC204, karena BB203 (akan) dimutasi ke Sumatera Utara. Sedangkan CC201 di Sumatera Selatan telah mengalami penurunan fungsi, karena peran menarik kereta penumpang ke Tanjungkarang telah digantikan oleh CC204.
Tarif & penambahan kereta
Pada saat mudik Lebaran atau hari libur nasional, kereta api ini dapat dilakukan penambahan 1 kereta pembangkit, 1 kereta Eksekutif, 1 kereta Bisnis,dan 2 kereta Ekonomi AC Split. Tarif kereta api ini jauh dekat untuk kelas eksekutif adalah Rp 150.000 sedangkan bisnis Rp 90.000. KA S1 : 19.00 - 03.41 KA S2 : 07.00 - 15.57
Kereta api Sribilah adalah kereta api eksekutif bisnis milik PT Kereta Api Indonesia yang melayani perjalanan Medan-Rantau Prapat dan sebaliknya.
Sejarah
Kereta api Sribilah diluncurkan sekitar tahun 1978 dengan menggunakan kereta ekonomi buatan Yugoslavia dengan ciri-ciri ventilasi oval diatas jendelanya namun sekarang kebanyakan kereta ekonomi ini diretrofit menjadi k2 dan k1 sribilah.Dahulu, KA ini terkenal karena menggunakan KA Bisnis AC Split, dimana saat itu hanya KA ini di Indonesia yang menggunakan Bisnis AC. Sekarang, KA bisnis sudah ber-AC semua.

Lokomotif
Pada awal beroperasi hingga sekarang kereta api sribilah ditarik oleh lokomotif diesel hidrolik BB 302 dan BB 303. sekarang kereta api sribilah mulai ditarik oleh lokomotif CC 201 hibah dari jawa/sumatera,hingga sekarang namun karena prasarana rel yang kurang karena masih terpasang rel berukuran kecil maka CC201 hanya berjalan dengan kecepatan 60 sampai 70 km/jam.Jadwal Perjalanan dan Tarif
